Every day in recovery is a victory worth celebrating.

Recovery isn't a destination — it's a way of living.

I've seen firsthand what addiction can take from a person — and I've witnessed the profound transformation that becomes possible when someone chooses a different path. My journey into addiction recovery coaching came from a place of deep personal conviction and lived understanding.

As a certified recovery coach, my work is rooted in the belief that every person carries innate strength and worth. I don't offer quick fixes or judgment — I offer a steady, compassionate presence alongside practical strategies that actually work in real life.

My approach draws from evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, SMART Recovery principles, and peer support models. Together, we build a personalized recovery plan that is uniquely yours — whether you need one-on-one coaching, family support, or a structured 90-day program.

Frequently asked questions about recovery coaching

What does an addiction recovery coach actually do?

A recovery coach provides personalized, non-clinical support to help you navigate substance use disorder, build a recovery plan, manage cravings and triggers, and rebuild your life with accountability and compassion. Unlike a therapist, a recovery coach focuses on present action and forward momentum rather than clinical diagnosis. I work with you through regular one-on-one sessions, practical tools, and between-session support.

How is a recovery coach different from a therapist or AA sponsor?

A therapist provides licensed clinical treatment and can diagnose mental health conditions. A sponsor offers peer fellowship within a 12-step program. A recovery coach bridges both worlds — offering structured, personalized support and accountability without the clinical framework. Many clients work with all three simultaneously. Recovery coaching is particularly valuable for practical day-to-day strategy, goal setting, and the period between formal treatment episodes.

Do I need to be fully committed to recovery before reaching out?

Absolutely not. I work with people at every stage — including those who are just beginning to consider whether change might be possible. You don't need to be sure, ready, or at rock bottom. A free initial consultation is simply a conversation about where you are and what support might look like. No pressure, no judgment, no commitment required.

Do you offer online addiction recovery coaching?

Yes. All coaching sessions are available online via Zoom or phone, making professional recovery support accessible from anywhere in the United States. Many clients find virtual coaching actually reduces barriers — sessions can fit around your schedule, and you can connect from the privacy and comfort of your own space.

What is the 90-Day Recovery Coaching Program?

The 90-Day Program is my most comprehensive offering, designed around the critical first three months of recovery. It includes bi-weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, a personalized recovery plan, between-session support via messaging, access to all recovery tools, and ongoing accountability check-ins. Research consistently shows that structured support in the first 90 days dramatically improves long-term sobriety outcomes.

Do you work with families of people with addiction?

Yes. Addiction affects the entire family system, not just the individual using. I offer dedicated family support sessions to help loved ones understand recovery, set healthy boundaries, avoid enabling behaviors, and find their own support and balance. You don't have to be in recovery yourself to benefit from coaching.
